Grandma presents: NOSEES

Ghostropolis is no stranger to John Dwyer and his infinite spellings of (Thee) O(h) Sees–in fact Grandma’s second show was literally a mix of different spellings of the bands name from across the discography and incarnations of the group (check that mix out here). But as unbelievable as it may seem Dwyer’s flagship group is only a (undeniably large) component in his dense playground of recorded sound. NOSEES is a drop in the bucket of his sounds but an attempt to gather highlights of the extremes in varied output JPD has unleashed. Proto-OSEES scuzzed punk rock, neon electronic synth pop, spectral ambiance and intergalactic jazz fusion are handled with captivating vibrancy and nestled/juxtaposed over this hour long teaser. Dig in!
